This year, we, of Atheist Freethinkers, will participate in the LGBT community day, in the Montreal gay village. We will have a table in Ste-Catherine Street East, somewhere between St-Hubert and Papineau (specific location to be announced), from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday August 13, where we will distribute information about atheism, sell our t-shirts as well as other merchandise and chat with passers-by.
Our table N-68 will be on the north side of St. Catherine St. East, just east of de Champlain St. two blocks from the Papineau metro station. Detailed Plan: http://www.atheologie.ca/atheologie.ca/pdf/lgbt_2016/journee_communautaire_2016_plan.pdf
In previous years, on several occasions, we have participate in the LGBT parade. Check out these photos from our contingent last year, 2015. But this year 2016, instead of the parade on Sunday August 14, we will be at the community day, one day before, on Saturday.
